Featured Quilt - QuiltCon 2023 Best in Show
Bullseye by Barbara Strick won Best in Show at QuiltCon 2023. Where did the inspiration come from for this colorfully Modern improvisational quilt? Barbara says, "With the traditional Drunkards Path as a starting point, I used color play to make the circles shimmer, shake, and roll. The book Circular Abstractions: Bull's Eye Quilts, an exhibit curated by Nancy Crow, was a direct inspiration. The rich colors, mixed with black, white, brown, and beige keep the eye moving. Hot pink quilting thread brings out even more color."
