Featured Quilt - This Quilt Came "Full Circle" After Seven Months
Audrey Esarey created Full Circle with her quilt group. Here is its creative and collaborative story:
"Flattering the strengths of each artist, the quilt circulated through the group for design, pattern drafting, hand dyeing the fabric palette, piecing, quilting, embroidery, and finishing; each maker laying their artistic mark on the finished piece. This collaboration, from the beginning, allowed each artist to add their touch to the design as the quilt changed hands over a seven month period. The final
finishing was done by the pattern drafter, bringing the quilt full circle."
Full Circle was exhibited at QuiltCon Altanta 2023 in the Group or Bee Quilts category.
