The Quilt Show Puzzle: Waiting For Spring To Come
"Waiting Out Winter" by Linda Beach

Linda made Waiting Out Winter the last winter that she spent in Alaska, where she was anxious to move on and get out of the cold and snow. In Linda's mind, while the tree is dormant and waiting for winter to end, there is still life inside waiting for spring to return, and that is why the tree and its branches are rainbow-colored.

See more of Linda's quilts in How to Make a Nature Inspired Quilt | How to Make a Sailboat Quilt Block.
