Deborah Fell begins our latest show by highlighting the importance of careful observation when examining various scraps, as these can serve as a visual line to engage the viewer. She then chooses fabrics that complement each other in terms of texture, lines, and transparency. Then follow along as Deborah sews the selected pieces onto a base, creating a small block that she says can become part of a larger quilt composed of many such blocks.
