Blooket has been a game-changer for remote learning! I love How To Play Blooket with my students. It keeps them engaged, and the educational aspect is a fantastic bonus. Cheers to Blooket for making learning fun and interactive!

The 1940's appeal to me. Women entering the work force due to the war not only changed fashion but many other aspects of life.

I was surprised at the number of orange dresses and the dress from 1917, in orange, is my favorite. I can see it being reproduced now. I also like 1947 and 1949. The very mod dress from 1969 is similar to my younger sister’s prom dress from that era. She was the only one in her class to wear this style - she weighed about 110 pounds. A few years ago she donated it to a thrift store and it ended being displayed in their window and received a lot of attention.

I found this fun to see. I am 84 years old and have worn a few of the designs that were in the video. My favorite dress made by me was a Vogue pattern and the designer was Edith Head. I was a hit in it. I met Edith Head at a luncheon she was speaking at, and I showed her the pattern. She said, "You and Marilyn Monroe, make this dress in celery green and crepe material". I did have what she called the hourglass shape. I only weighted 127 pounds, so I wasn't overweight but top heavy and small waist and hippy. I would love to have that problem again. Great video.

So nice that you have been sewing for many many years. I’m mainly a quilter now but from time to time I think about making a garment. Time is precious - at 80 I am not much younger than you.

My favorites are the 1930's modest dresses and the 2000's feminine designs. Thank you for the interesting video.
