How to Use Inklingo for Quilt Blocks and Fussy Cutting with Linda Franz

I purchased my first Inklingo many years ago, and now own almost 40 shapes. So, yes, I love Inklingo, and I stitching the shapes. I use machine and hand stitching, often combining both machine and hand work in a project. Inklingo is simply “The Best!”

This lady had a great idea. However, unless she has changed her instructions I could never get it to work. My son owns an IT co. Even he could not get it to work. This was several years ago. We even corresponded with her. I don't know if it was my printer or pc or what but I abandoned trying to use it. It's a great idea if you can get it to work.

I used it a few years back but abandoned it as I never could get the hang of fussy cutting using the printing method. it never seemed to line up the way I thought it would and I'd end up wasting that fabric. I will have to try again. Other than the fussy cutting the process was easy after a few tries (at first it seemed overwhelming due to the amount of information in the website).

I have been using Inklingo since the very first collection on a CD and now can't imagine ever making a quilt any other way. The precision is beyond belief fabulous, curved piecing is ridiculously easy and everything turns out perfectly, whether it's just four pieces meeting or a 12-point star, thanks to the great sewing lines and matching marks. The lessons Linda teaches from the Quilted Diamonds days through to all the various Inklingo collections are fabulous and always a huge, huge value added element. I am a hand piece most of the time, but using Inklingo has given me the confidence to machine piece and my machine piecing is as accurate as my hand piecing now - thanks again to the marvellous matching points and sewing lines of Inklingo!
