How to Use Fabric Panels, Create Wonky Fabric Portraits, and Make One-of-a-Kind Rope Quilts with Libby Williamson

(Show 3011) We are peeling away the layers with Libby Williamson. Layer one, Libby works with fabric panels (which you can buy or create yourself) and shows you how to machine or hand embellish to create wall hangings, pillows, bags, and more. The second layer is all about Libby’s Wonky Sisters. A fun project full of creativity that will have you making a wonky fabric portrait of you or someone you love. In the final layer, Libby shows you some of her latest work which focuses on using rope (clothesline) to create a truly new style of quilt. It’s layer after layer of creativity when Libby’s on the set.

Oh I am so inspired by the rope quilts especially and all the many colours of hand painted fabrics. Great show thank you !

What a great show! So much texture and variety; the easy projects working into more complicated ones. I bet Home Depots everywhere are sold out of ‘drop cloths!’
