(Show 2413) Claudia Pfeil is known for adding paint and a variety of fabrics (gauze, organza, interfacing, tulle and more) with crystals and feathers on her quilts. As a designer for Island Batik, her love of color and movement is captured on her quilts. Claudia is from Krefeld, Germany, and reviews the 300 year history of silk weaving and textile production in her hometown. As a self taught quilter, she used an Ohio Star quilt to help her get accepted at University. She shares her quilts and their inspirations: Hidden Forest, Bubblicious, Fractal (Best of Show in 2018 - Road to California), Fire and Ice, Time to Catch a Dream, and Turtle Bay.

Gayle Schliemann shares her love of theatre and costume in a variety of ways.  Appearing as Mary Poppins, Gayle introduces her Cosplay costumes, A mermaid, Trapeze Artist and----.  As the Marketing Manager for BERNINA, she shares her passion for sewing and how to use digitized embroidery.
