How to Design Quilts on a Grid with Sue Heinz

(Show 2312) Sue Heinz, machine quilter, teacher and author shares the magic of using one drawn design on a square grid or in a circle. She shows how these designs can be used to fill your sashing areas, corners, or entire quilt. And what about those daunting circles? Well, Sue says that they aren't difficult when you break them into segments. Sue demos free motion quilting with the same design, a drawn graph, and hoop to help move the fabric. Sue shares her basic principles and techniques to create a variety of stunning designs. Ricky shares a super technique for adding a pop of color to a quilt binding, basically a binding with no sewing by hand.
