I started this quilt the day the pandemic was called in Ontario Canada. It is EPP, hand appliquéd and machine pieced together. The center is the virus then it spreads to the variants, then the waves and the next the vaccines. I will be quilting a grid to depict fencing, with all of us being prohibited to go anywhere, and then finish with prairie points depicting the pockets of waves still occurring and pockets of people opting for the vaccine
