Continuing with our look at past winners displayed at Spring Market, we want you to get close to the quilting of Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry. This is a beautiful quilt in many aspects, but today look closely at the quilting in the detail pictures and then see how they play on the full quilt. Look at the different styles and designs throughout the quilt. See how she achieves texture with tight and loose quilting. See how she creates movement to match her piecing. Now, how about the quilt you are working on?

As I look at this, I realize that you have to have excellent movement control of your machine. Maybe a bit of confidence in yourself helps too. I do not have
what it takes to do such extraordinary quilting with my machine.

Fantastic! Mother Nature has such amazing things, don' t forget to protect the wild ones! Without that picture of a moth this quilt wouldn't have been so wonderfully made!
