The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Room For One More" by Patricia Belyea
Do a puzzle of Patricia Belyea's quilt, Room For One More.
Room For One More was made using Tina Hilton's Turtle Hand Batik fabric. When Patricia was at Houston in 2017, she came across Tina's fabric and she told her, "Boy if I had your fabric I would sure make a different quilt." In response, Tina gave Patricia some of the fabric, which she now felt obligated to make something with, so she created Room For One More. The theme of the quilt is that there is a family of three and there is a little one arriving. It is the story of Patricia being pregnant with her child Victoria, and wondering how a new child was going to change up her life. It changed Patricia's life for the better as she now works with Victoria and couldn't live without her.
