The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Rocks" by Esterita Austin
Do a puzzle of Esterita Austin's quilt, Rocks.
Rocks comes from a two-day class that Esterita teaches about working with paint to create more depth on a quilt's surface. She finds that by using paints, specifically textile paints, you can really push an image to pop by emphasizing the highlighting and shadow of certain areas.
