The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Faces of Pilgrimage" by Leslie Rinchen-Wongmo
Do a puzzle of Leslie Rinchen-Wongmo's quilt, Faces of Pilgrimage.
On Faces of Pilgrimage, Leslie had this to say about her quilt: "The figures of two Tibetan girls returning from a pilgrimage are hand-stitched with traditional Tibetan appliqué techniques. The background photograph is inkjet printed on pieces of cotton and organza, pieced together, and machine quilted. The shy girl in the background covers her face with a scarf and giggles as the camera snaps, while her bolder friend welcomes the contact."
