The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Chenrezig" by Leslie Rinchen-Wongmo
Do a puzzle of Leslie Rinchen-Wongmo's quilt, Chenrezig.
The central figure of the quilt, Chenrezig, who is the Buddha of compassion, was made using the traditional method of Tibetan silk applique, but placed on a machine-quilted background. With this quilt, Leslie started to bring some of her own culture in contact with the Tibetan tradition.
