The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Austria's Mona Lisa" by Cristina Arcenegui Bono
Do a puzzle of Cristina Arcenegui Bono's quilt, Austria's Mona Lisa.
Austria's Mona Lisa is based on the painting Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I by Gustav Klimt, whose subject is also known as Austria's Mona Lisa. The quilt holds a lot of meaning for Cristina as it is made from a scarf of the painting that her husband gifted to her knowing that she wouldn't be wearing it around her neck, but that she would use it in a quilt. She made the quilt in 2018, which was the centenary death of Klimt.
