Featured Quilt - The Last In The Series

Janet Stone has finally completed the last quilt in her Alphabet series. This final quilt, Blooming Blocks & One From the Flock, just took home Third Place - Appliqué (Sponsored by Road to California, Inc.) at Road to California 2025 and is both a beautiful quilt and a loving tribute to her late husband. She says, "This is Blooming Blocks & One From the Flock. Each block and flower name starts with a letter from the alphabet. (Imagine that!) I hand lettered the names of each in the scallops around the border. There is also one of each flower in the sheep cart. It is the LAST in my alphabet series! and dedicated to my darling late husband who was my #1 fan."

The Quilt Show Puzzle: A Quilt Made by Mother and Daughter

"Judy 'n Babb's Great Adventure", Quilted by Gina Perkes

Judy 'n Babb's Great Adventure is a collaborative quilt that Gina made with her mom. They both were taking an interest in the Modern style of quilting, and wanted to create something that would lend itself to Modern quilting designs. Gina's mom loved the geometric designs and solid fabrics of Modern quilting, so she created the quilt top, while Gina quilted it for her.

See more of Gina's quilts and her quilting work in How to Machine Quilt with Rulers with Gina Perkes.
