Featured Quilt - Viewer's Choice at AQS QuiltWeek Branson 2024
Snow Much Fun! by Lorelai Kuecker won Viewer's Choice (Sponsored by Rowenta) at AQS QuiltWeek - Branson 2024. This quilt was based off of the pattern Frosty Goes to Town by Arlene Stamper and Melissa Harris, and was entered into the Large Quilts - Appliqué category. While the quilt is outstanding by itself, what is even more amazing is that its quilter was only fourteen when she made it.
Lorelai is now fifteen, going on sixteen, and just recently taped a segment with us here at The Quilt Show, where we featured her quilt Snow Much Fun! along with some of her other work during her demo. We can't wait for you to see what she taught us.
After viewing the quilt, be sure to click the Quilt Video tab to watch an interview between Michelle Renee Hiatt and Lorelai from the floor of AQS QuiltWeek – Branson 2024 where they discuss her quilt. |
