The Acorn Block Builder Base is a reusable base for your quilt block with a transparent fabric piece that you can lift up and slide a pattern underneath. The Block Builder Base has many uses-

Follow a pattern or blueprint
Place your block pattern or blueprint under the see-through fabric to give yourself a guide to work from.

Pattern design
Treat the Block Builders like mini design walls and use them to lay out and design your own blocks.

Audition fabrics
Move your block pieces around to choose colors combinations or to line up directional fabrics. Easily match blocks for the look you want!

Organize blocks
Keep your blocks on their Block Builder Bases and stack them on top of each other to give yourself more space to work. Your blocks will stay exactly as you left them, making it easy to pull out a project and get to work.

Reduce errors
After you sew pieces together, place them back on the Block Builder Base until you are ready to sew or press again. By continuously laying out pieced sections, you will lessen opportunities for errors to occur.

Transport blocks
