Artist Statement: "In November of 1922, in The Valley of the Kings, Egypt, archeologist Howard Carter, thrust a candle into a small hole in the doorway of a newly discovered tomb. This quilt is a collaborative effort by 23 members of Bits Art Quilters of St. Louis, MO. It was envisioned and guided by Sally White Pelikan. We aren't concerned about a curse!"
