Description:
Artist Statement: "We are surrounded by illusions every day. This work is an illusion as well. You see blue triangles but in fact, they are just circles. This quilt made with traditional patchwork techniques does not look traditional at all. I was inspired by Varvara Stepanova, a Russian textile artist, who created constructivist textile patterns over a hundred years ago that look modern even today."
