Description:
Artist Statement: "Wildflowers along the Chinese Wall in the Bob Marshall Wilderness were the pallete inspiration for this quilt; bright blue gentians with green foliage against the limestone Wall itself. I appliqued the wool flowers during trips to the Southwest US and to Alaska and the Yukon, and during hiking and rafting trips to Montana. Machine Quilting is all hand-guided, using Superior threads and Hobbs wool and 80/20 battings. Elegantly finished with double piped binding."
Techniques: Machine Pieced, Hand Appliqued, Longarm Machine Quilted
