Description:
Artist Statement: "Through a Lens is the third in a series of optical illusions. I attended a workshop with Sarah Nishiura about expanding the grid. She explained how to make designs with the use of basic graph paper, pencil and a ruler. Going back to the basics was just the inspiration I needed to look at quilts in a different way. The illusion of movement is made with shifting angles and curves."
