Artist Statement: "I wanted to create a crazy quilt that utilized antique techniques and patterns. Completely created by hand, I found antique outline designs of motifs from the 1880s. I used many techniques to create those motifs and incorporated them into the crazy quilt. Indeed, Sanity is Overrated."
