Remember When by Deb Deaton won Second Place - Small Wall Quilts: Stationary Machine Quilted (Sponsored by Baby Lock USA presented by Calico Country Sew & Vac) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2024. Inspired by a somber photograph taken by Deb, it depicts a rundown shack in front of a once majestic tree that has now gone leafless. The title recalls a time when the viewer can "remember" when this place was once a thing of beauty, but alas no longer is.
