Description:
Artist Statement: "This began as a Dear Jane quilt in fabrics from my favorite designer, Tula Pink. It morphed into an Irish Chain quilt when I realized I wasn't going to make 225 Dear Jane blocks. The negative space created by the layout provided a canvas for free-motion quilting designs and lots of ruler work. There are 573,339 stitches and 61 hours of quilting in this piece. I love the way the wavy border and black-and-white border frame the piece."
Techniques: Machine Pieced and Quilted ; Hand Appliquéd ; Track-Mounted Machine ; Free-Motion Quilted
