Description:
For Odds, Ends, and Leftovers, Gyleen took the grid design she featured in one of her previous quilts and added more lines to it. By adding more lines, she knew she could add more elements to it, and by adding elements she could use more fabric from her stash in this scrappy quilt. Doing this taught her the lesson that things do not always need to be treated as light, medium, and dark. For example, bright can replace light, and by changing the basic grid and moving the color elements around, you end up with a different picture, but the grid is still the same.
