Midnight Magic by Joanne Baeth won First Place - Small Wall Quilts: Fiber Art/Mixed Media (sponsored by PFAFF) at AQS QuiltWeek – Paducah 2025. Depicting eight boats as they are docked for the evening, the real magic is in how Joanne's mastery of a vast array of quilting techniques, including thread painting, inking, fabric painting, and more, brought these ordinary boats to life with just a wave, and a stitch or two or ten, of her hands.
