Artist Statement: “The design was based on my family memories, our quilt group (Honey Bee), and my favorite things. It took one year and four months to make this.”

I was lucky enough to be a Quilt Angel for the area this quilt was in and was able (with white gloves) to open the refrigerator door to see the bins on the door in vinyl, the milk was labeled, there was pizza in the freezer, also labeled. The hollow tree has a welcome sign and stairs going up. There was so much to take in with this quilt. So many people kept coming back to discover new things on this quilt. Truly amazing workmanship and design.
