Description:
Ghost Of The Mountains by Jamie L. Huston won Third Place - Small Wall Quilts: Quilter’s Choice (Sponsored by Martelli Enterprises) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2024. Inspired by an illustration by Dieter Braun from the book Wild Animals of the World, and quilted by Julia Quiltoff, Jamie's quilt isn't one to give you a fright despite its title. Instead of depicting something scary, its subject is actually a very majestic looking white tiger out in the snow (which, YES, would be something quite frightening to see in really life). Take a look for yourself and see if you can spot the tiger ready to pounce while camouflaged amongst its environment.
