Description:
Artist Statement: "Making this quilt was a great learning experience for me. I made a number of modifications to the pattern. I added garden pests and other insects. I then added some hand embroidery. I quilted it on a my home machine as I felt it needed a custom job."
NACQJ (National Association of Certified Quilt Judges) Award of Merit Requirements: "With the prior approval of a quilt show's coordinator or sponsor, NACQJ certified judges have the option of awarding this special ribbon to a deserving quilt in any show they are hired to judge.
