Virtual Quilt Market March 2021 Artist Statement: "I wished to convey the beauty of seasonal flowers in this quilt. Making flower quilts is one of the delights in my life. It makes me happy. I carefully made the quilt by hand, expressing the beautiful flowers of each season in the design."
Houston 2017 Artist Statement: "I wanted to express the beautiful flowers which bloom seasonally. I was particular about the selection of fabric to look like realistic flowers. Because I used so many kinds of flowers, I examined the composition closely and reworked it many times before I finished the design."
Techniques: Machine Piecing, Hand Appliqué, Hand Embroidery, Trapunto
