Artist Statement: "This quilt is a tribute to Ricky Tims and his book, Kool Kaleidoscope Quilts, where I learned his technique for these quilts. Since my first kaleidoscope quilt, I have developed my own process, and this quilt highlights my growth with curved seams; 24 outer wedges that are Y-seamed to 12 inner wedges; and appliqué enhancements. Thank you, Ricky, for an easy-to-follow method that inspired me to go further."
