Description:
Artist Statement: "A Horse With No Name was made for a Name That Tune Challenge in honor of the song by America. I love horses, the song, and the photography of Christa Merk, who was kind enough to give me permission to use one of her photos. The horse was hand-painted on the fabric, and then the horse and sky were completely threadpainted. The quilt was made to be viewed from both sides."
