The class starts April 10, 2021 and runs through May 8, 2021.

This is a design-it-yourself class that will include pre-recored videos (as needed), but this is primarily a class with LIVE interactive sessions to discuss, share ideas, answer questions, and shape the original project you will design. The LIVE sessions will be recorded, posted, and available anytime in the event you can't attend a particular session. The gist of this class is for each person to create an original, artful quilt—most likely a wall-quilt—that is innovative and aesthetically pleasing, but using primarily traditional pieced units.

The designs will feature focus blocks that are then surrounded and enhanced by the patchwork units. There is leeway for appliqué, but the Gridified Art Quilt is primarily geared toward patchwork. You will choose to work on a 4" or 6" grid. Templates for both size grids are provided in the PDF.
