The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Not So Contrary" by Kellie Beckwith
Do a puzzle of Kellie Beckwith's quilt, Not So Contrary.
Kellie loves No So Contrary as it was the quilt that had been rolling around in her brain for over twenty years. She had seen a quilt similar to it in the book Northern Comfort: New England's Early Quilts 1780-1850, which in turn inspired her quilt based on the coloring and style of block. The block used in the older quilt was the Contrary Wife block, but Kellie's quillt features an alternative to that block, hence the name Not So Contrary.
