The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Marimba" by Rayna Gillman
Do a puzzle of Rayna Gillman's quilt, Marimba.
Marimba was born out of Rayna's worldly scrap collection, containing African, Indian, and so many more fabric scraps from the world over. One day, when she didn't know what to do, Rayna sat down and began to cut strips out of her scrap collection and just started to alternate the prints with another set of white strips. From this exercise, a simple and elegant quilt was made.
