The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Crescendo" by Betty Busby
Do a puzzle of Betty Busby's quilt, Crescendo.
Betty loves fungi, and if you look at the underside of fungi and see the ribs radiating out of the gills, that is where the basis for the design of Crescendo came from. And if you start to look at different micrological pictures you'll see that they come in all kinds of colors and shapes like the ones on Betty's quilt. It has couched cording to represent the radiating ribs and hand beading for the spores.
