The Quilt Show Puzzle: "Bumblebee and Coneflowers" by Carol Morrissey
Do a puzzle of Carol Morrissey's quilt, Bumblebee and Coneflowers.
Bumblebee and Coneflowers was created using an assortment of both dyed and painted fabrics. Inspired by a photograph that she took, Carol used painted appliqués that were fused on to the hand dyed background to create this stunningly realistic looking natured-inspired quilt. In fact, the bumblebee looks so real, it just might fly right off the quilt and into your garden.
