What Is The Pantone Color of the Year 2026?

Every year Pantone picks another color as its color of the year. This year's pick really has everyone talking. Is it even a color?

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh*t. Unreal. So many beautiful colors of nature they could choose to imitate and this is it???

Don't you get it? It is a brilliant marketing ploy. I never even heard of the Pantone Color of the Year. Now it is all over social (at least the sewing social) media. If it had been a shade of green or blue they would have announced it and...

I think I kind of get it. It's hard to really see the color online, but I'm thinking it's not a bright white, but a softer white with some almost hints of color?? I do like the pastels they showed it with which make me think of some upcoming...

I do like the pastels they showed it with which make me think of some upcoming painting I'd like to do in 2026. Color does bring out all kinds of emotions! What would we quilters do without endless color choices??
