Featured Quilt - Three, Two, One, Blast Off!

Harland's Space Quilt by Pam Plotner was featured in the Celebrate Life Exhibit (Sponsored by Necchi) at Houston International Quilt Festival 2024. What started off as a birthday present for her grandson turned into an award-winning touring quilt for Pam. She says, "My son-in-law asked if I would make this pattern for my grandson Harland's 3rd birthday. Panda had to say yes! He opened the gift at this party. I took it back and entered it in our local quilt show the next weekend. It won the NACQJ Award, 2nd place, and Best Non-Traditional. This quilt has been in three other shows and won a ribbon at each of them. He just turned five, and he may never get this quilt back!"
