Featured Quilt - 1st Prize Two Person Quilts at Festival of Quilts 2025
Two Halves Make Us Whole by Claire Wallace and Telene Jeffrey won 1st Prize - Two Person Quilts at Festival of Quilts 2025 in Birmingham, England. Made by Claire, and quilted by Telene with her own Original Design, they had this to say about their work. "A true collaborative project, an idea born on a road trip between two best friends, inspired by The Red Dress and the theme of "Voices in Cloth"." To learn more about this amazing collaborative quilt, be sure to read the Description section by clicking the About The Quilt tab after viewing the quilt in the Featured Gallery.
Here's just a sampling of the fantastic comments Claire and Telene received about their quilt at the Festival: "Excellent handling of difficult silk fabric. Beautifully stitched and appropriately embellished. Colours complement the subjects and the background quilting is exquisite and truly enhances the quilting as a whole. Well done and congratulations!"

Dive Into Designing Modern Dresdens
Marge Tucker shares her modern interpretation of a Dresden design, using strip sets of varying widths and lengths, in our brand new show. She demonstrates how to assemble strip units, cut them into wedges, and arrange and sew them to avoid the dreaded center bubble where multiple seams converge. Plus, learn how to cut and sew a quarter-circle composed of multiple wedge strips.
