What is the Most Famous Quilt Pattern?

We asked Google, "What is the Most Famous Quilt Pattern?" The results show we have some further training of our non-quilting brethren to do. So what was the answer???

As it happens, the article had the answer right, but the algorithm pulled in the wrong picture. BUT, a non-quilter would not know that. The picture is of a LeMoyne Star, but the most famous quilt pattern is...the Log Cabin block.

I was expecting log cabin but can see the Lemoyne star too. Both make very effective quilts. My first quilt, about 50 years ago was a trip around the world.

Log Cabin is what I guessed before looking at the answer. It is an easy block to make with so many layout options.

My guess was the Wedding Ring. I know when our guild made one, it brought in the most money for our fundraiser.

I am not surprised. Log Cabin was the block I made for my first quilt. Its many variations make the possibilities endless.

I’m shocked it’s not the four patch.
