I started using invisafil as it was recommended by my quilt shop. Love it! Use it for quilting and "invisible" machine applique. Used to use invisible thread but this is much better. I always loosen the tension a bit which was recommended in a review. I have never had any problems unlike invisible thread. The results are really good, especially with ruler work where you go over the same line.

A question for Michelle. What is the bling that I see in the frog and Koi thread paintings? Is it glitter thread and or crystals and or glitter/beads ? It is beautiful. Ricky and Alex are just so perfect as moderators. So polite always! Such right-on questions for the how-to so we can recreate it! Ricky and Alex you are an absolute pleasure to watch! You are relaxing and fun ! A question for Alex: I admire your "applique type" tunics/tops. Do you make them and what exactly is it: applique? painting or both? They are gorgeous!

I loved today's show! Especially after seeing another fantastic Australian Quilter. Yeah. Then the section on Wonderfil Threads was certainly lighting fast. I wish it was longer! But I guess I can go and check it out for myself.
