If you are making our Summer Project with your own fabrics, you will need this Fat Robin 16 Point Ruler and a Summer Bloom | Winter Wreath Pattern.

This ruler and book set offers tools to make a 16 point strip pieced Mariners Compass more easily and accurately and with NO paper piecing!

It includes a template sheet and all of the instructions from the original Fat Robin 60˚ Mariner’s Compass Book, the Fat Robin Companion Booklet, and the Fat Robin portion of the OctaCompasses pattern for ‘no circle’ finishing.

Please note that your Fat Robin 16 Point Ruler will arrive with a brown paper backing that should be peeled away before using.

The ruler set is really necessary to do the pattern if you are able to do the quilt without using the ruler then good luck as I cannot. I have all of Robin Ruth's rulers. When going to her web site there are free patterns that you can use this...

The ruler set is really necessary to do the pattern if you are able to do the quilt without using the ruler then good luck as I cannot. I have all of Robin Ruth's rulers. When going to her web site there are free patterns that you can use this ruler for also. The book explains were to incorporate the different cuts and YouTube videos is very informative and may help you to determine if you would need the ruler.
