Description:
I drew this years ago, then it took awhile to make into a quilt. There are a lot of different techniques, piecing, hand and machine appliqué, painting, and collage. My family were railroaders and buried in the tracks there's a pocket watch, to represent the 4 railway watches I have from my brother, dad, grandfather and great grandfather. The boys jeans were purchased and the front cut off so they could be appliquéd onto the quilt.
I quilted it using several colours on the front but either black or invisible thread in the bobbin, depending on which section I was working on. When you look at the back, you see the picture outlined in black thread like my drawing.
