Artist Statement: “This piece is dedicated to my father, who passed away late last year. He is very important to our family. He was very excited about this quilt. I worked very hard to finish it, thinking of him. I put many of his favorite things into the design, and I believe he is pleased with its completion.”
Techniques: Hand Piecing, Appliqué, Embellishment, Embroidery, Trapunto, Beading, and Quilting
