Description:
At a point when she was making dolls, Lesley read how Egyptian mummies were wrapped and was inspired to create a quilt based on that idea. The Patron Saint of Gardeners is that quilt, and Lesley likes to say that she quilted her with seeds because she used a small seed stitch throughout the piece. The quilt is the first time Lesley printed a photograph on fabric to create the idea of a full-sized person.
