Description:
Artist Statement: "As a quilter bringing together 69 colors in a glorious mélange to meet and mingle in one quilt was a special treat. This quilt felt like a playground of color with largely improvised piecing and finding "friendly" groupings of blocks to arrange to create the secondary pattern. But joining these together with rows and rows of diagonal and spiral quilting was a task I thought would never end."
