Description:
The Healing Heart is also the first piece that Jane had in the Visions Exhibition in San Diego when TQS Quilt Legend Michael James was a juror. Michael commented to Jane that she had a really fresh take on utilizing a heart in the quilt, which she was thrilled about because it was drawn by Jane's daughter when she was four or five years old. Jane took that drawing and had it silkscreened so that it could be added to the quilt's overall design and become one of its primary elements, hence the title of the quilt.
